We host free community meals every Tuesday from 4pm-7pm at Lotus Indian Bistro. We offer a warm, welcoming environment where people from all walks of life can come together to enjoy a nutritious meal. Our commitment to respecting people's dignity means that we do not ask for any personal information and no one is turned away. We believe in the power of good food to bring community together, and we will continue to serve our community without barriers to support.
WHERE IT ALL STARTED
FEEDING FENELON was founded with a simple idea in mind: to bring people together around the table and provide them with healthy filling meals. Our founders, Vincent Parkhurst and Chef Mitchell Alexander, know the importance and transformative power of shared affordable meals and supportive, non-judgmental, conversations. Having both come from a past living with addiction they draw from their past lived experience and their professional experience in the food industry they aim to create a space where everyone, regardless of their socioeconomic status or personal struggles, could come together, share a meal, and connect with others without judgement. It is a core value at Feeding Fenelon that no one be turned away. It is also a core value at Feeding Fenelon that we meet people where they are without judgement. We respect everyone's personal autonomy and our aim is to only help when, where, and how we can.
